This hands-on class will introduce new
computer users to basic skills and concepts required for working comfortably
with a Windows computer. Participants will learn how to turn a Windows
computer on and off, use a mouse and basic Windows navigation skills. Participants
will gain an understanding of managing disks and files. Class participants
will become familiar with some of the features of the Windows operating
system such as Network Neighborhood and the maintenance utilities.
