Strategies for Computing in a Multi-Platform Environment
Description
This class focusses on techniques for implementing and managing a multi-platform computing environment. Participants will learn how to exchange files between Macintosh and Windows computers and will gain an understanding of issues related to e-mail communications between Macintosh and Windows computers. Participants will also gain an understanding of some of the inherent differences between the platforms such as fonts, color palettes, file formats and networks and will explore solutions to these problems.
